Questions
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The questions that come back most often, and the campaign’s answers.
- Why the provincial election?
- Foreign policy is federal, but our four demands are not. The Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, the Quebec office in Tel Aviv, RAMQ, and Quebec infrastructure all fall to the National Assembly.
- Is this a partisan campaign?
- No. We address candidates of every party in every riding. The campaign endorses no party.
- Who should I vote for?
- That is your decision. We publish what candidates answered on our four demands; we endorse no one and recommend no vote.
- What does taking the pledge mean?
- You commit to weighing candidates’ positions on Palestine when you vote, and you get the tools to write to yours.
- Can individuals endorse?
- Endorsement is for organizations. Individuals show support by taking the pledge.
- What happens after the election?
- The organizing continues. Commitments made during the campaign become commitments to hold to account in the National Assembly.
